The Alexandria Education Foundation (AEF) is currently accepting nominations for the 2016 Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame recognizes and honors the accomplishments of alumni – graduates, or any staff or faculty member – who have earned distinction or achievement in their chosen field.
Anyone may submit a nomination and the AEF Board of Directors will make honoree selections based on the following criteria:
- Must have graduated from Alexandria Public Schools at least 10 years prior to nomination, or must have retired from Alexandria Public Schools after serving in the school district for a minimum of 10 years.
- Must have realized distinctive achievements in their chosen field(s) that include such areas as business, education, science, professions or community service.
- May or may not be currently holding the position(s) in which they achieved major success.
- Nominees may be living or deceased.
To nominate an alum for this prestigious award, please complete the online nomination form on the AEF website, or download the nomination form and mail it to the Alexandria Education Foundation at PO Box 308, Alexandria, MN 56308. The deadline to submit a nomination is April 8, 2016. The AEF Board of Directors will make the final selection of inductees, with names announced in May. Those not selected will remain in the pool for future consideration.
