Applying for one of our Teacher Innovation Grants is as easy as 1-2-3. Letters of intent are accepted and reviewed year-round. If approved, you'll be invited to submit a full application. The dates shown below apply to the 2026-27 teacher innovative grant cycle.
Note: This grant program is only for teachers in the Alexandria Public School System in Alexandria, Minnesota.

If your Letter of Intent is approved, you will be sent instructions on completing the application
Staff will be notified whether or not they are invited to proceed with the application process by March 9, 2026.
Applications are then due by March 27, 2026.
03.
Wait for grant recipients to be selected and announced
Grant recipients will be notified the first week of May 2026 if they receive a grant.
Note: Grant recipients may be asked to promote the Alexandria Education Foundation via photos, social media, or other mediums.
