Accomplishments/Work History:
• Two careers – teacher and artist
• Taught in one room school in Douglas County, Districts 60 & 70
• Taught 6th grade in Litchfield, MN
• Taught art classes in a boys private school- Boston, Massachusetts
• Tutored a physically challenged child
• Began a second career as a professional artist 40 years ago
• Art Awards received: 1990 Artist of the Year, Lake Region Art Council
• Three “Best Display of Show” awards, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Illinois
• Paintings awarded for “originality and creativity” four years in a row from Artist of Minnesota statewide organization
• Lifelong educator, taught at the Senior Center and continues to teach Community Education art classes and community workshops
• Inspired and mentored many students to become artists
